Citizens National Bank NetTeller Internet Banking Agreement

The Citizens National Bank NetTeller Internet Banking Agreement ("Internet Banking Agreement") is a legal contract between you and Citizens National Bank that establishes the terms and conditions for Internet Banking and Internet Banking services provided by Citizens National Bank ("CNB", "our" or "us"). Read and retain this Internet Banking Agreement for your records as it contains important information pertaining to CNB NetTeller Internet Banking services. In addition to this agreement, you and CNB agree to comply with the terms and conditions listed in the disclosures you received during account opening, as well as any account agreements, schedules of fees and charges, and other disclosures provided to you regarding your account. Your use of NetTeller and its Internet Banking services is acknowledgement of your receipt of these disclosures and your consent to the terms and conditions contained within them. To enroll in CNB NetTeller Internet Banking, an application must be completed, signed, and submitted to Citizens National Bank. Acceptance and enrollment of your application is subject to CNB’s approval. Your use of NetTeller Internet Banking, linked accounts, additional services such as Bill Payment, Mobile Banking, and Electronic Statements, as well as any additional products or services related to CNB NetTeller Internet Banking, is done so under all additional terms and conditions contained within the disclosures for those products and services. Review those agreements for any limitations on transactions, applicable fees, and other restrictions that may apply and impact your use of these products or services.

This agreement applies to each person or business entity who establishes an online banking account with Citizens National Bank, or who uses or is authorized to use a NetTeller identification number and password, or other means of access CNB establishes or approve. The term “NetTeller” defines our service that allows you to obtain account information, view check and deposit images, make payments, transfer funds, access accounts, export account information, pay bills, access mobile banking, and perform other transactions over the Internet and/or other means CNB authorizes or allows.


To access CNB's NetTeller Internet Banking service, you must use the identification number and/or other means of access CNB establishes or provide for your account, as well as a password you select that meets the password criteria. Anyone to whom you give your NetTeller ID and password or other means of access, including usage of your account via a mobile device, will have full access to your accounts even if you attempt to limit that person’s authority. You are responsible to strictly establish and maintain procedures to safeguard against unauthorized transactions. If you permit other persons to use the Services with your User ID, Password or other means to access your account, you are responsible for any transactions they authorize.

If you believe your NetTeller ID and/or password has been compromised, or that someone may attempt to use NetTeller without your consent or has transferred money without your permission, or you suspect any fraudulent activity on your account, contact Citizens National Bank immediately at 1-800-733-6595 or via e-mail at Contacting CNB is the best way of minimizing your losses and liability. If you believe your password has been compromised, please use the password change feature by navigating to the Settings tab on your NetTeller and changing your personal settings.

You are solely responsible to maintain computer hardware and software required to access Citizens National Bank NetTeller Internet Banking and its services, including but not limited to World Wide Web access via a secure Internet Service Provider (ISP), an Internet browser that supports a minimum 128 bit encryption standard, firewall protection, anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, and a valid e-mail address required to access CNB NetTeller.

You are solely responsible to maintain your mobile access device, supportable cellular telephone, personal digital assistant (PDA), tablet computer, or other type of wireless communication or mobile handheld device that is web enabled, is capable of conducting Internet banking transactions via our NetTeller GoDough mobile banking, allows secure SSL traffic, Wireless Application Protocol "WAP", and other protocols that CNB may select or approve from time to time, and is capable of receiving text messages (SMS) required to access the Services..

You agree to take every precaution to ensure the safety, security and integrity of your account and transactions when using NetTeller. You agree not to leave your computer or mobile device unattended while logged into NetTeller, and to log off immediately at the completion of each access. You agree not to provide any of your access information to any unauthorized person. If you permit other persons to use your computer, mobile device, login information, or any other means to access NetTeller, you will be held responsible for any transactions they authorize and CNB will not be liable for any damages that occur. CNB makes no representations that NetTeller will be available for use in locations outside of the United States. Accessing NetTeller from locations outside of the United States is at your own risk.

You agree not to use NetTeller or the content or information delivered through CNB NetTeller Internet Banking in any way that would be considered illegal.

These website links are provided to you solely as an additional convenience. You acknowledge by clicking on or activating any links, you will leave Citizens National Bank’s NetTeller Internet Banking website and will be redirected to other websites. CNB does not review, approve, endorse, or control any information or content contained within these linked websites. Citizens National Bank, its affiliates, and its partners are not responsible for the content of these websites or any information provided therein, and CNB makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees concerning your usage of these linked websites.

Terms and Conditions:

Citizens National Bank may modify, with or without notice, the terms and conditions of this NetTeller Agreement. CNB may send you, via the last e-mail or postal address shown on record, notice of changes. The revised terms and conditions shall be effective at the earliest date permitted by applicable law. Unless otherwise required by law, any future notices or communications related to this NetTeller Agreement may be provided electronically.

Citizens National Bank may assign this NetTeller Agreement to any affiliate or successor in the event of a reorganization, merger, change of control, acquisition, or sale of assets of the business to which this agreement applies, with or without your consent. You may not assign this NetTeller Agreement to any third parties. NetTeller Internet Banking may assign this NetTeller Agreement to any affiliated companies or independent contractors or other third parties.

Disputes and Waivers:

In the event of a dispute regarding your NetTeller Internet Banking services, you and Citizens National Bank will attempt to resolve the issue by consulting this NetTeller Internet Banking agreement. You agree that this agreement is exclusive and supersedes any other communications between you and Citizens National Bank. If there is a conflict between information provided by an employee of Citizens National Bank or affiliated NetTeller Internet Banking staff and the terms of the NetTeller Agreement, the terms of this agreement will prevail unless otherwise prohibited by law. NetTeller Internet Banking and this agreement shall not be deemed waived unless such waiver is in writing and signed by an authorized Citizens National Bank employee. No delays or omissions in service shall result in the waiver of rights or remedies within this agreement. A waiver on any single occasion will not be construed as a waiver for rights on future occasions.

Services and Responsibilities:

CNB NetTeller Internet Banking is offered as a supplemental service to our banking services as a convenience for our customers. NetTeller Internet Banking allows you access to your CNB account information, create transfers between your accounts, and create bill payments (if applicable). Services may display on your NetTeller that have not been authorized and therefore will not be available. CNB may introduce new products or services in conjunction with NetTeller Internet Banking. By using these products or services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained within this Agreement and any additional updates or other disclosures associated with these products and services.

By agreeing to this NetTeller Internet Banking Agreement, you accept responsibility for learning to use NetTeller Internet Banking in accordance with the online instructions, and agree to contact us directly if you have any questions or issues regarding its products, services, or functionality.

CNB may modify or cancel any of these products or services at any time with or without prior notice, at our discretion, unless otherwise prohibited by law. In the event of any modifications or cancellations, you are responsible for understanding how to use NetTeller as modified. You also accept responsibility for properly using your web-enabled device. CNB is not liable for errors caused by improper usage of an electronic device.

CNB reserves the right to restrict usage of NetTeller Internet Banking and limit the number and types of accounts eligible, as well as restrict any transactions you request through NetTeller Internet Banking. CNB may also reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time, based on the needs of customers or our financial institution.

You agree that, when using NetTeller, you remain subject to the terms and conditions of your existing agreements with any unaffiliated service providers, including, but not limited to, your mobile service provider, Internet service provider (ISP), and that this agreement does not amend or supersede any of those agreements. You understand that those agreements may provide for fees, limitations and restrictions which might impact your use of NetTeller Internet Banking or mobile banking (such as data usage or text messaging charges imposed on you by your mobile service provider for uses of or interaction with mobile banking), and you agree to be solely responsible for all such fees, limitations, and restrictions. You agree that only your Internet service provider (ISP) or mobile service provider is responsible for its products and services. Accordingly, you agree to attempt to resolve any issues with your provider(s) directly.

You represent that you are the legal owner of the accounts and other financial information which may be accessed using CNB NetTeller Internet Banking. You represent and agree that all information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the right to provide such information to us for the purpose of using CNB NetTeller services. You agree not to misrepresent your identity or your account information. You represent that you are an authorized user of the computer or mobile device you will use to access CNB NetTeller Internet Banking.

Statements made available electronically through NetTeller for accounts enrolled in eStatements are subject to the Electronic Statements agreement for the terms and conditions of these services.


You may use CNB NetTeller Internet Banking to transfer funds between your eligible CNB accounts (internal transfer). You may not transfer to or from an account at another financial institution using our NetTeller Service.

Any deposit account, loan or other banking product accessed through CNB NetTeller Internet Banking is also subject to account agreements and disclosures signed at the time of opening your account(s). You should review the account disclosures carefully, as they may include transaction limitations and fees which might apply to your use of NetTeller. This may include but is not limited to the number of transactions permitted by savings or money market accounts. Federal regulations require financial institutions to limit the way withdrawals may be made from a savings or money market account. Each transfer from a savings or money market account using our NetTeller Internet Banking service is counted as one of the six limited transactions permitted each monthly statement cycle period. Citizens National Bank may also limit the type, frequency, and/or amount of transfers for security purposes and may change or impose limits without notice, at our option.

Your enrollment in NetTeller Internet Banking may not be completed if your identity or other necessary information is not submitted or cannot be verified.


Citizens National Bank reserves the right to terminate your NetTeller Internet Banking account with or without notice under any of the following circumstances: Failure to adhere to the agreement governing your deposit or loan accounts; failure to pay any applicable fees associated with your accounts or NetTeller Internet Banking; failure to maintain your accounts in good standing; illegal or otherwise prohibited activities connected with usage of NetTeller Internet Banking or other accounts associated with Citizens National Bank or other parties; or any reasonable cause for termination of your account.

Your Citizens National Bank NetTeller Internet Banking may become inactive if you do not log in nor have transactions scheduled during a consecutive six-month period. In the event your CNB NetTeller Internet Banking account is deemed inactive, you will be required to contact CNB to have NetTeller reactivated before you will be able to access your accounts or schedule any transactions. If your CNB NetTeller account is not reactivated, it will be purged from CNB’s system and reenrollment will be required.

You may terminate this Citizens National Bank NetTeller Internet Banking agreement by notifying Citizens National Bank via phone (1-800-733-6595) or e-mail ( and providing your name, any required verification information (such as but not limited to social security number(s), account number(s), NetTeller ID(s), and address(es) for parties listed or linked to NetTeller), and the service(s) you wish to discontinue, as well as the desired termination date of these service(s). When Online Bill Payment is terminated, any prescheduled bill payments made through NetTeller Internet banking will also be terminated and any applicable charges for services will be assessed. Previously paid fees are nonrefundable.

Electronic Fund Transfers:

This section is applicable to consumer online electronic fund transfers that credit or debit a consumer’s account and are subject to the Federal Reserve Board’s Regulation E. In the event of errors or questions concerning a NetTeller Internet Banking funds transfer or bill payment transaction, please contact Citizens National Bank via phone (1-800-733-6595) or e-mail ( Citizens National Bank must hear from you at the telephone number or e-mail above no later than 60 days after the first statement on which the error appeared was mailed. Information concerning the error, including your name and account number, a description of the transfer in question and an explanation of the issue, the date of the problem, and a dollar amount, may be requested.


This sections details Citizens National Bank’s liability to you, the customer, only to the extent that other agreements, notices, or disclosures have not separately disclosed. In no event shall CNB be liable to you for failure to provide access to NetTeller Internet Banking or associated services, such as mobile banking or bill payment. Unless otherwise required by law, CNB is only responsible for performing these services to the extent outlined in this agreement. Citizens National Bank will not be liable for any of the following occurrences:

  • If through no fault of Citizens National Bank you do not have sufficient funds in your account to make a funds transfer, if a hold is placed on your account, if your funds are subject to an encumbrance restricting access, if access to your account is blocked in accordance with bank policy, or if your funds transfer terminates by operation of law.
  • If circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disaster, power outage, or equipment or technical failure or breakdown) prevent a funds transfer from occurring despite disaster recovery precautions CNB has taken.
  • If you believe someone has accessed your accounts without your permission and you fail to notify Citizens National Bank immediately, or if CNB has a reasonable basis for believing that unauthorized use of your NetTeller ID, password, or account(s) has occurred or may be occurring.
  • If we have received incomplete or inaccurate information from you or a third party regarding account(s) or transfer(s), or if you have defaulted or violated this agreement, any account agreement(s), credit agreement(s), or other agreement(s) with Citizens National Bank.
  • If this NetTeller Internet Banking agreement is terminated by you, the customer, or by Citizens National Bank.

In no event shall Citizens National Bank have any liability to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from usage of NetTeller Internet Banking or access to these services, including but not limited to failure of your equipment or software, or that of an internet browser provider such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, or by an Internet Service Provider or Phone Service Provider.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Citizens National Bank, our affiliate companies, directors, officers, employees and agents harmless against any third party claim, demand, suit, action or other proceeding and any expenses related to a NetTeller Internet Banking account or use of these services. Citizens National Bank is not responsible for any electronic virus(es), spyware, or other malware or malicious software that you may encounter. We suggest that you routinely scan your access device using an antivirus protection product. Undetected spyware or malware may corrupt and destroy your programs, files, and your hardware, or result in identity theft.

Citizens National Bank will only disclose account and personal information in the following circumstances: when necessary for the provisions of NetTeller Internet Banking; when necessary for completing transfers or transactions; in order to verify the existence of accounts for third parties, such as credit bureaus or merchants; in order to comply with subpoenas or government orders or other reporting requirements; if given permission by an accountholder; or as otherwise explained in Citizens National Bank’s privacy policy.

Credit Report and Review:

You are subject to periodic credit reports and reviews by Citizens National Bank, at CNB’s discretion, and in accordance with CNB’s credit criteria. You shall provide, upon request by CNB, any related credit information or audit information and assistance to perform such reviews. Your failure to meet such information or assistance when requested shall constitute a breach of this NetTeller Agreement and may result in CNB terminating the agreement and your access to NetTeller services.

Governing Law:

This NetTeller Internet Banking agreement shall be governed by and in accordance with the State Laws of Ohio, without regard to its conflicts or provisions. In the event this NetTeller agreement conflicts with such applicable state or federal laws, such laws shall replace the conflicting terms only to the extent required by federal or state law. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all other terms of the agreement will be upheld.



To utilize CNB NetTeller Internet Banking, you must first complete an application through Citizens National Bank’s NetTeller website or in person at a CNB location. You must then submit your application via online enrollment or at one of our locations.

Upon submission of your application, Citizens National Bank will determine if your access to NetTeller Internet Banking will be authorized. If your application is accepted, you will receive an e-mail from us containing your NetTeller ID and instructions on how to access NetTeller Internet Banking. You will receive your temporary NetTeller password via mail to the address on your application or on file. You are required to use both your NetTeller ID and NetTeller PIN/password to log into CNB NetTeller Internet Banking. 

To access CNB NetTeller Internet Banking, visit and log in via the log in section. For your initial log-in, you must read and agree to this CNB NetTeller Internet Banking agreement. You must also change your password and complete other pertinent information as detailed in your enrollment e-mail.
